The Mormon Church Has A $44 Billion Stock Portfolio, With The Following 10 Stocks As Its Top Holdings‍

Its investment portfolio comprises $44.4 billion in stocks, which form part of its $100 billion investment portfolio.

The Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating Ensign Peak Advisors for potential disclosure violations, according to the Trade Algo last week.

‍

Until a former employee of the Mormon Church filed a whistleblower complaint in 2019, the fund's investment portfolio wasn't made public. She claimed the fund didn't engage in any charitable activities, so should not be exempt from taxes.

Officials from the church denied these allegations, and the church has told the SEC that it is currently complying with its disclosure investigation.

This week Ensign Peak Advisors filed a 13F with the Securities and Exchange Commission revealing the top ten stocks it owns as of the fourth quarter.
