The Powerful New Friend Of Elon Musk

February 13, 2023

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch attended the Super Bowl along with Tesla's billionaire CEO.

It's Official: Musk Has Become A Conservative Icon

This dangerous routine was broken by the billionaire for the Super Bowl. On Feb. 12, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., in what was the biggest sporting event in North America.

Murdoch and Musk attended the game together, demonstrating their partnership as media moguls.

Images of the two billionaires seated in the same box were captured by Fox's cameras, Murdoch's media network that broadcast the game. Their friendship spanned many game days.

There were several other women in attendance, including Elisabeth Murdoch, Rupert's daughter. Musk founded SpaceX and News Corp. (NWS) - Get Free Report.

Both tycoons were spotted together, which led to speculation about possible business deals.

Over the last year, Musk has emerged as a new symbol of conservatives. Having complained that the microblogging site muzzled right-wingers, he made his offer to acquire it.

The failure to adhere to free speech principles undermines democracy fundamentally since Twitter functions as a de facto public town square. What should be done?" he asked.

In order to attract conservatives, the billionaire made the platform more welcoming. The company's policy against xenophobia, anti-Semitism, racism, and disinformation resulted in the shutdown of most far-right Twitter accounts under version 1.0.

Rather than imposing its own values on the world, Twitter will be open to a variety of values going forward, the billionaire announced on Feb. 7.

Murdoch And Musk Have Enormous Influence

As a result of this announcement, it is implied that content moderation has been removed from the social network.

Aside from that, he also regularly attacks progressives on Twitter, attacking their ideologies such as environmentalists, social activists, and gender activists.

Earlier this year, Musk announced that he would now vote Republican after moving Tesla's headquarters from California to Texas. Aside from that, he has pledged between $20 million and $25 million to support the presidential candidate he chooses in 2024. Based on Bloomberg Billionaires Index information, his net worth was estimated at $179 billion on Feb. 12.

Fox News, which conservatives consider to be the most popular channel, is headed by Murdoch, 91. Since the billionaire's election, Fox has been key to Republican kingmaking.

Several observers are calling for former President Donald Trump to make way for a new generation of politicians on the right during the coming political cycle, which will start at the end of this year. Musk and Murdoch will certainly play an important role in it.

The Republican Florida governor Ron DeSantis, who is Musk's candidate, has already declared his candidacy, and Trump is already attacking him.

Tesla's board includes Rupert Murdoch's son James, who is a Tesla director.

Tesla shareholders recently criticized Musk's decision to resign as Tesla's CEO, so Musk is now looking for a replacement. There was speculation that Elisabeth Murdoch might be considered for the role after seeing him with her. In addition to being an investor and producer, Elisabeth Murdoch is based in the U.K.

There was a lot of discussion on social networks about Musk's images with the Murdochs. They may have been talking about something else, according to a Twitter user. An immediate response was received from Musk.

During the Super Bowl, Elon Musk sits next to Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch, according to another user. There are only wrong answers. What are they discussing?"."

"It's Dogecoin," replied the billionaire after the game.
